I first heard the idea of a vision board on social media and instantly fell in love with the idea! There is some magic to materializing your dreams and goals that makes them feel more attainable. I always like to create reminders for myself of what I had set out to achieve. When life gets super busy and overwhelming, I like to look at it to center myself.

Grow my YouTube channel

One of my biggest goals this year is to grow a community on YouTube. I want my content to be reflective of my unique journey as a businesswoman who has learned and grown with time. This channel is where I will speak about ways I set up my business, the mistakes I made, the lessons I learned, and what you never hear business owners speak about—the harsh realities and the sweet rewards. Having a business is a very personal journey. I have found that there are ebbs and flows in my work. Sometimes I have to let things happen and sometimes I have to let them go!

Create content that adds value

There is a whole world of content out there and businesses have to work hard to make sure that they create something that stands out. While I want to attract a big audience, I also want to maintain my authentic touch with my art and work. I want to create content that is engaging, informative, and helps whoever it reaches. From press-on nail application tutorials to unique nail art designs, I want my content to be impactful and reflective of what Luna Lab is all about. Find balance so I can show up as my best possible self

It’s easy to get so wholeheartedly involved with your passion project that health and wellness become the last item on your priority list. This happened to me years ago, when I burnt myself out during university, and that is when I found LUNA LAB. It helped me get back to my inner artist, my younger version who loved creating intricate nail designs and painting tiny canvases. 

A mistake I made in 2017 of trying to do it all without taking the right care of myself, led me to the creativity sanctuary that is now LUNA LAB. This year, I want to restore balance in all aspects of my life so I can continue doing what I love the most and do it well—painting nail sets that help my customers feel like the best version of themselves. Just like how I feel when I am painting them!

Believe in my power 

This brand is a direct result of my passion and drive. I have come far with it and the path I paved on this journey reflects all the work I put in. The long hours, the sleepless nights, the hustle and grind that teaches me new lessons every day, LUNA LAB continues to grow every day and with it, so do I. This year, I want us to travel even further and reach new heights.

Success has many definitions but to me, it takes the shape of personal growth. If I prosper, only then my business can. Every time I feel defeated, I look back on this vision board and it reminds me of all the reasons why I embarked on this journey.
