1. Start With A Clean Base

Shorten and file your nails, push back your cuticles with a manicure stick and buff the shine away from your natural nails with a buffing block. Then clean your nail plates with alcohol wipes and don't touch your nails to keep them clean and oil free.

2. Size Matters

You want to make sure the nails fit before you commit. Find the correct sizes and if you’re between sizes, go smaller so the press ons don’t overlap over your skin. There’s nothing worse than a press on that is wider than your nail bed.

3. Should I Go for the Glue?

For longer wear time (up to 2 weeks), use the nail glue. Apply glue on the false nail first and then directly on your natural nail plate starting from the cuticle area towards the free edge. Be quick. The glue will dry within a few seconds. Make sure to place the nail on straight. Hold and press for 10 seconds. Don't forget to press on the side walls too!

PRO TIP: Always do your pinky’s first. Or... Do your thumbs last! You want to keep your thumbs free because you’ll be doing most of the pressing with your thumbs.

4. Or... Should I Go for the Tabs?

If you want something temporary (1-2 days), use the adhesive nail tabs. You may want to apply a dot of glue on your nail for extra hold and then place the tabs over the glue. Once the tab is secured to your natural nail apply the false nail and hold for 30 seconds.
